INFECTION CONTROL

INFECTION CONTROL

We at NUFACE CLINIC follow a strict disinfection and sterilization protocol needed for infection control. These are used for each and every patient to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases. All our staff involved in patient care use appropriate protective garb such as protective aprons, gloves, masks, head caps and protective eye glasses during the treatment. After each patient visit, the gloves are discarded, hands are washed and a new pair of gloves is used for the next patient.
NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT THE DISPOSABLES LIKE NEEDLES, SYRINGES GLASSES ARE ALL FOR ONE TIME USAGE & ARE DISCARDED AFTER ONE USE.

We Follow A Three Level Sterilization Protocol For Non Disposable Instruments.

Level 1
All the instruments are scrubbed thoroughly with spirit swabs to remove any attached debris and blood.

Level 2
The instruments are then immersed in 5% KORSOLEX STERLIZING SOLUTION for 45 min for standard disinfection.

 Level 3
The cold sterile instruments are then packed in individualized sterile pouches.

Sealed Sterilization Pouches are then AUTOCLAVED in an advanced B CLASS AUTOCLAVE which has 3 separate cycles for vacuum, heating and drying.

Multiple sets of instruments are pouch sterilized and kept in storage. A fresh pouch is opened for EVERY PATIENT.
Root Canal Files are sterilized in a GLASS BEAD STERILIZER

Hygiene of the water circulating inside the dental unit is very important in order to avoid the involuntary transfer of infection to patients. Our dental units are fitted with Anti Retraction disinfection systems for the water used in the patient's oral cavity.

THESE MEASURES ARE CARRIED OUT RIGOROUSLY AND CONSISTENTLY AND DEMONSTRATE OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR SAFETY.
